I’m co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of FabTime
Inc., a company specializing in cycle time management software for
wafer fabs. I'm also the editor of the FabTime
Cycle Time Management Newsletter, a free monthly email publication
dedicated to wafer fab cycle time improvement issues. |

Prior to founding FabTime I worked as an independent
consultant to the semiconductor industry, working for customers like SEMATECH, Digital Semiconductor, Seagate,
Siemens, and Intel. |
| I maintain an extensive bibliography on capacity
modeling for semiconductor manufacturing. |
| In December 1998 received my Ph.D. in Industrial
Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at
Amherst. My research involved queueing and simulation models for manufacturing
systems with time constraints between process steps. You can download my dissertation here. My advisors were Professor Richard Giglio and
Professor Michael Zazanis. |
